Is VoiceBloom right for my child?

VoiceBloom is a picture-based communication app for nonverbal and minimally verbal children. The right fit depends on your child’s communication and access needs. You can explore the board without signing up, then use the trial to try it in familiar routines. If your child works with an SLP, involve them in the choice.

Can we use a device we already own?

VoiceBloom works on iPhone, iPad, Android, and the web, including Chromebooks. You can start in your browser or download the app from the App Store or Google Play.

Do I need to know how to use AAC already?

You can explore the app without prior experience. The built-in Coach provides guidance, and you can contact us for help using VoiceBloom. AAC means augmentative and alternative communication: tools that support communication through pictures, text, gestures, or speech. Learn the basics of AAC.

Can we use it with our child’s speech therapist?

Yes. You can link with your child’s SLP and share progress information. VoiceBloom supports your existing communication approach; it does not replace individualized professional advice. See the therapist tools.

Can my child use head tracking or eye tracking?

VoiceBloom’s Access mode adapts the board for head tracking, eye tracking (eye gaze), and switch access through compatible device accessibility features or hardware. It uses fewer, larger tiles, highlights the tile under the pointer, and disables long-press editing on the board to prevent accidental edit menus during dwell selection. Enable the input method in your device’s accessibility settings or compatible hardware first, then turn on Access mode in VoiceBloom’s Settings. Compatibility depends on your device, operating system, and access equipment; VoiceBloom does not provide its own camera-based tracker. Read the setup details.

Which languages are included?

The interface, symbol board, and text-to-speech support English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Mandarin Chinese, Arabic, Hindi, and Russian. Weekly progress emails are currently available in English, Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese.

What happens after the 30-day free trial?
